Kefford's sculptures gently coax the viewer into recognising that, communication in spite of our ability to identify its value and intention, is a fragile process: it challenges our interpretation of reality. The apparently familiar is transformed into the unexpected, eliciting a sense of confusion and insecurity. This draws us closer into pondering the vulnerability and other worldliness of interaction."
